Construction of Magnetically Shielded Room by Lodestar Magnetics, 2007
A magnetically shielded room has been
constructed by Lodestar Magnetics at the University of Rochester for
the Paleomagnetic Research Group. The
shielded are composed of three layers (2 layers of transformer steel, one layer of Mu metal) and will house our DC SQUID magnetometers.
