From time to time I lead students on field trips around the area, discussing topics such as evidence of glaciation of New York as seen in Mt Hope Cemetery and Mendon Ponds Park, the development and erosion of drumlins and bluff faces at Chminey Bluffs in Sodus Bay, as well as the Paleozoic history of New York State as seen in the gorges of Niagara, Rochester and Letchwork.

Some links move off site to a gallery web site that I maintain.

Chimney Bluffs, November 2006:  an USGO field trip to Chimney Bluffs near Sodus Bay, New York
Taconic Mountains, November 2007: Structural Geology field trip to the Taconic Mountains.
Luray Caverns, August 2005: For a number of years, I went with my father to North Carolina to collect fossil shark teeth.  On our way back, we visited Luray Caverns
